Moldex ® was created in 1986 by Grupo Bimbo® in response to the need to design and manufacture molds, currently, it is positioned as a leader in the manufacture of point-of-sale displays. With time, the manufacturing of Dry and Refrigerated Boxes as well as the assembly of Electric Vehicles for light loads is incorporated. Today, we also venture into technological developments for the automation and control of equipment that improve the productivity of the supply chain.

1986

Molds and displays Chihuahua

Grupo Bimbo created the subsidiary in response to the need to design and manufacture molds and displays for its products.

1990

New plant in Toluca

The company relocates and establishes in Lerma, State of Mexico.

2006

Starts sales to external customers

Due to growing demand from other brands for the manufacture and development of displays, Moldex has established itself as a supplier to national and international brands.

2007

Bodyworks

The commercialization and manufacturing of dry and refrigerated boxes and accessories developed for its customers is born, so that it is structured as a business line capable of manufacturing them for any other brand under specific needs, making us bodybuilders recommended by chassis manufacturers.

2011

Plan to open Moldex USA

Because of the remarkable growth, the plan to open Moldex USA was initiated in 2011.

Vekstar
